SPARTUS Ultra 2300 auto-darkening welding helmet
SPARTUS Ultra 2300 welding helmet
SPARTUS Ultra 2300 is an auto-darkening welding helmet with Dual Color technology, allowing you to choose between two image color modes: True Color and Harmony Green. This lets you tailor the appearance of the welding arc and weld pool to your preferences and the job at hand.
A wide 107 × 75 mm viewing area, additional side windows, and a 1/1/1/1 optical class provide a clear view of the work area. SMART mode automatically adjusts the shade to the brightness of the arc, while the MIX function gradually returns the filter to its light state after welding.
Dual Color — two color modes
Dual Color technology lets you change the image color tone while the filter is darkened. Two modes are available:
True Color — more natural color reproduction, making it easier to see details in the welding area.
Harmony Green — a greenish image tone for users who prefer this view of the welding arc and weld pool.
The choice of color mode helps tailor visibility to individual needs and improves comfort while welding.
SMART mode — automatic shade adjustment
SMART mode automatically adjusts the filter shade to the intensity of the welding arc, reducing the need for frequent manual adjustments.
The user can set the minimum shade level and adjust the filter response. In SMART mode, the system adjusts the shade from the selected minimum up to DIN 13.
Wide viewing area and high image quality
The 107 × 75 mm viewing area and side windows provide a better view of the workpiece, workspace, and surroundings. This makes it easier to navigate the work area without lifting the helmet as often.
The filter’s 1/1/1/1 optical class provides high image quality with minimal distortion, low light diffusion, and uniform shading at different viewing angles. In its light state, the filter has a shade of DIN 3, making it easier to position workpieces and the electrode before welding.
MIX function for greater visual comfort
After welding, the MIX function gradually switches the filter from its dark to its light state through intermediate shade levels. This helps reduce discomfort caused by sudden changes in brightness.
This function is particularly useful for spot welding and high-current welding, where transitions between the bright arc and ambient light occur frequently.
Fast response and precise settings
The filter uses four arc sensors and two additional sensors to respond quickly to changes in light intensity. The switching time from light to dark is 1/25,000 s.
Two shade ranges are available — DIN 5–9 and DIN 9–13 — along with adjustable sensitivity and 11 delay settings from 0.04 to 1.0 s.
Operating modes and functions:
WELD — for arc welding.
CUT — for plasma cutting.
GRIND — for grinding, keeping the filter in its light DIN 3 state.
DARK — for working with a fixed shade.
SMART — for automatic shade adjustment to arc intensity.
MIX — for a gradual return of the filter to its light state.
TEST — for checking filter operation before starting work.
The filter provides continuous UV/IR protection up to DIN 16, regardless of the selected shade.
External GRIND button for convenient mode switching
The GRIND button on the outside of the helmet lets you quickly activate grinding mode without removing the helmet or accessing the internal control panel.
This is especially convenient when you frequently switch between welding, grinding, and material preparation.
Comfort for everyday work
The multi-point adjustable headgear lets you adjust the circumference, helmet height, tilt angle, and distance between the filter and your face. Its 652 g weight and replaceable front and rear sweatbands help ensure comfort during work.
The filter is powered by solar cells and a replaceable CR2450 battery.
Suitable for various welding processes
The SPARTUS Ultra 2300 is designed for MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA welding, plasma cutting, and grinding. Support for TIG AC/DC welding from 2 A also makes the helmet suitable for precision work at low welding currents.
