SPARTUS Ultra 2000 auto-darkening welding helmet
SPARTUS Ultra 2000 welding helmet
The SPARTUS Ultra 2000 is an auto-darkening welding helmet with a flip-up filter module, a wide viewing area and wireless settings control via the SPARTUS ADF app. It combines a 107 × 75 mm viewing area, side windows and a 1/1/1/1 optical class for a clear view of the welding area.
SMART mode, the MIX function, adjustable shade levels of DIN 4–8 and DIN 9–15, and three settings memories let you adapt the helmet to different welding and cutting tasks.
Wide viewing area and flip-up filter
The large 107 × 75 mm viewing area and additional side windows provide a better view of the work area and surroundings. The filter’s 1/1/1/1 optical class delivers high image quality with minimal distortion, light diffusion and shade variation at different viewing angles.
In its light state, the filter has a shade level of DIN 2.5, making it easier to position the electrode, align workpieces and inspect the work area before striking the arc.
When the filter module is flipped up, a clear protective lens remains underneath. This lets you switch to grinding, material preparation or weld inspection without removing the helmet, while maintaining face protection.
SMART mode — automatic shade adjustment
SMART mode automatically adjusts the filter shade to the intensity of the welding arc. As the arc brightness changes, there is less need to adjust the settings manually.
Users can set a minimum shade level and tailor the filter’s response to their needs. In SMART mode, the shade adjusts from the selected minimum up to DIN 13.
Control via the SPARTUS ADF app
A wireless connection lets you connect the helmet’s filter to the SPARTUS ADF mobile app and adjust its operation on a smartphone.
In the app, you can:
Select SMART, GRIND, CUT, WELD and MIX modes.
Adjust the shade, sensitivity and delay time.
Synchronize settings with the filter.
Save settings configurations.
Check the battery charge level and filter temperature.
MIX function for greater visual comfort
The MIX function provides a gradual transition of the filter from dark to light using intermediate shade levels. It helps reduce discomfort caused by sudden changes in brightness after welding.
The function is particularly useful for spot welding and high-current welding, where transitions between bright arc light and ambient lighting occur frequently.
Operating modes and precise adjustment
The filter uses four arc sensors and two additional sensors, and its switching time from light to dark is 1/25,000 s.
Available modes and functions:
WELD — welding with an adjustable DIN 9–15 shade.
CUT — cutting with an adjustable DIN 4–8 shade.
GRIND — grinding with the filter in its light DIN 2.5 state.
DARK — fixed shade without automatic switching.
Sensitivity adjustment — adapts the sensors’ response to working conditions.
11-level delay adjustment — return to the light state after 0.04–1.0 s.
TEST function — checks filter operation before work begins.
Continuous UV/IR protection up to DIN 16 is provided regardless of the selected shade.
Three settings memories
The helmet lets you save three individual filter configurations. You can prepare separate settings for different welding processes, current ranges or working conditions and then activate them quickly.
This feature is also useful in shared workplaces where several operators use the helmet.
Adjustable headgear and versatile use
The adjustable headgear lets you set the circumference, helmet height, tilt angle and distance between your face and the filter. Replaceable front and rear sweatbands improve comfort, while the digital control panel allows precise selection of settings.
The SPARTUS Ultra 2000 is suitable for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding, plasma cutting and grinding. Support for TIG AC/DC welding from 2 A also makes it suitable for precision work at low welding currents. The filter is powered by solar cells and a replaceable CR2450 battery.
