The SPARTUS Ultra 1000 is an auto-darkening welding helmet with a flip-up filter module that makes it easy to switch between welding, grinding and inspecting workpieces. A wide 100 × 60 mm viewing area, adjustable DIN 9–13 shade and MIX function provide a clear view of the work area during different stages of metalworking.
Flip-up filter for a smoother workflow
When the welding filter module is raised, a clear protective lens remains underneath. This lets you inspect the workpiece, prepare material or grind without removing the helmet, while keeping your face protected. This design is especially convenient for jobs that require frequent changes between tasks.
MIX function for a gradual return to the light state
After welding, the MIX function gradually transitions the filter from dark to light through intermediate shade levels. This helps reduce discomfort caused by sudden changes in brightness, especially during spot welding and high-current welding.
Clear view and adjustable shade
The filter’s 100 × 60 mm viewing area makes it easy to see the weld pool and surrounding work area. In its light state, the filter has a DIN 3 shade, making it easier to position workpieces and prepare for work.
The auto-darkening response time is 1/25,000 s, while the adjustable DIN 9–13 shade range lets you match the shade to the welding process and settings. The filter provides continuous UV/IR protection up to DIN 16, regardless of the selected shade.
Settings for different working conditions
DARK mode — keeps the filter at the selected fixed shade level.
Adjustable sensitivity — lets you adapt the sensors’ response to arc intensity and ambient light.
Four delay settings — determine how long the filter takes to return to its light state after welding.
TEST function — lets you check the auto-darkening function before starting work.

Adjustable headgear and versatile use
The headgear can be adjusted for circumference, height, distance between the face and filter, and helmet tilt angle. Replaceable front and rear sweatbands improve comfort during everyday use.
The SPARTUS Ultra 1000 is suitable for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding, plasma cutting and grinding. Support for TIG AC/DC welding from 2 A also makes the helmet suitable for precision work at low welding currents. It is powered by solar cells and replaceable CR2032 batteries.
