SAVAGE A50 LUX Air

The Savage A50 LUX builds on the performance of the Sentinel A60 welding mask with advanced OpTCS™ true-colour vision at a flawless EN 1/1/1 optical level.

The automatic dimming filter (ADF) features a simple and intuitive control panel that offers control over the most critical functions for all types of welding:

- wide selection of the degree of darkening;

- 5 levels of delay and sensitivity.

The Savage A50 LUX is equipped with a 50-lumen dual LED work light, integrated behind the moulded front cover lens.

The work light is powered by an 'AA' battery, which offers long life due to the use of the integrated arc sensor, which allows the light to be switched off only when an arc or bright light is detected.

The internal Halo ™ head support found in the Savage A50 LUX is the same 5-point adjustable as in the Sentinel A60.

The EPR-X1.1 breathing system allows the air flow to be adjusted at the push of a button, with the flow through the P3 filter adjustable from 170 to 220 litres per minute. The system informs the user of the need to change the filter by emitting an acoustic signal. The lithium-ion battery lasts up to 10 hours at 170 l/min.

ESAB's EPR-X1 PAPR unit connects seamlessly with all current ESAB PAPR welding masks and offers advanced respiratory protection from harmful welding fume particles.

This PAPR is designed for applications ranging from occasional use to full-time industrial applications. The EPR-X1 has a robust and compact construction with a powerful fan for maximum durability and performance. Check battery status, fan settings and filter condition at a glance with the quick-access LED status lights. In addition, the PAPR provides audible and vibration alerts to inform the welder of low airflow (indicating the need to change the filter) and low battery conditions.

The EPR-X1's turbo unit is controlled by easily accessible pushbuttons that allow three ranges of airflow speeds to be set: 170/190/220 l/minute. The EN12941 TH-3P certified two-stage HEPA filter.
