IDEAL EXPERT MULTI 270 PFC PULSE 4in1 Pro7 Welding Machine + TIG AC/DC
Technical parameters
EXPERT MULTI 270 PFC PULSE 4in1 Pro7 is an inverter, synergic and multifunctional welding power source designed for MIG/MAG, FLUX, TIG and TIG PULSE arc welding using alternating current (AC), direct current (DC) and MMA (covered electrode) welding using direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). It also provides MIG/MAG welding with pulse current: single pulse and double pulse. The device is intended for a wide range of applications: from maintenance work, through steel structure welding, to car body repair.
EXPERT MULTI 270 is used for welding galvanized sheets, stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steel, as well as aluminum soldering. Welding is performed in inert, active or mixed gas shielding, or with reversed polarity welding without gas.
TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steel, copper and titanium.
TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE function: allows welding aluminum and its alloys, as well as brass.
By adjusting TIG PULSE welding parameters, we can influence the weld shape and arc focus. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is useful when welding thin materials.
The arc is ignited either contactless (HF), or in lift mode (LIFT). The LIFT function is used when welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference.
In addition, the source has a special TIG method (SMART TIG), where the user selects the basic welding parameters. Based on these parameters, the device selects the optimal welding current and shielding gas flow parameters.
A wide range of additional functions is also available for specific applications. These include: MIX AC/DC, MULTITACK, EXTRA FUSION, Q-START, DYNAMIC ARC and MULTIWAVE (hybrid characteristics).
Using the MIG/MAG method, we can select the button mode on the torch between SPOT mode (spot welding), 2-stroke (without locking), 4-stroke (button lock for long welds), S2-stroke and S4-stroke .
With the TIG method, we can select the button function on the handle between 2-stroke, 4-stroke, SPOT and the special PRT mode (two-level welding current).
A clear and easy-to-use 7-inch LCD touchscreen allows you to adjust welding parameters using both physical buttons and knobs, as well as touch (touchscreen).
The device has a manual mode (MIG MAN) and synergic mode (MIG SYN) with the ability to adjust:
- gas before welding
- gas after welding
- wire feed
- wire burn-back
- voltage adjustment
- spot welding time
- inductance
- current up/down
The MIG/MAG method also includes pulse modes (PULSE, DP), which additionally include such functions as:
- arc length in pulse
- arc length at start/end current
- base current in pulse
- pulse time
The LCD touchscreen makesTIG parameter adjustment easier for the device:
- initial shielding gas flow
- initial current
- current up/down slope time
- welding current
- base current
- end current
- pulse cycle
- pulse frequency
- AC balance
- AC frequency
- end shielding gas flow
MMA welding (covered electrode), in addition to selecting the current type (DC or AC), is also possible with the pulse current (PULSE) function. Additional features are also available:
- HOT START
- HOT START time
- ARC FORCE
- VRD
The device features a wide welding parameter recording and retrieval system (JOB function). This makes it easier to work with different materials without the need to repeatedly reset the device when making any changes (for example, gas or wire).
Physical parameters
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
Fan cooling system - NORMAL or SMART mode (activates only when necessary) - reduces contamination inside the device.
The device is equipped with overload, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection for operation with a generator (+/- 15%), which increases its reliability. It also has a PFC (power factor correction) module, which improves the power factor and network connection stability.
Power supply parameters
Single-phase 230V power supply .
The device is equipped with a power plug.
Set contents
The delivery includes the device with a 3-meter MIG 24 welding torch, 4 metersTIG 26 torch with remote control (potentiometer) and 3-meter electrode and grounding cables. The set also includes a hose with quick connector and TIG 26 torch consumables.
