IDEAL EXPERT MIG 220 PFC PULSE Pro5 LCD welding machine
Technical parameters
The EXPERT MIG 220 PFC PULSE Pro5 LCD is an inverter-based, synergistic , and multifunctional welding power source designed for MIG/MAG, FLUX, TIG LIFT, and MMA (coated electrode) arc welding. It also offers single-pulse and double-pulse pulse welding . The device is designed for a wide range of applications, from maintenance work and steel structure welding to automotive bodywork repairs.
The EXPERT MIG 220 is used for brazing galvanized sheets, stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steel, and aluminum. Welding is performed in an inert, active, or mixed gas shield, or in reverse polarity welding without gas.
Quick, synergistic adjustment of welding parameters via the 5-inch LCD touchscreen makes the device incredibly easy to use. Simply set the thickness and type of material being welded and start welding. The intelligent, automatic arc control system will select the best parameters step by step for each welding position and material. The user can also manually set the arc length and customize the weld appearance to suit their needs. For the MIG/MAG process, the user can select the welding mode using the gun's button: SPOT (spot welding), 2-step (no lockout), 4-step (button lockout for long welds), S2-step, or S4-step .
The device has a manual mode (MIG MAN) and a synergic mode (MIG SYN) with the possibility of adjustment:
- gas before welding
- gas after welding
- wire access
- burning the wire
- voltage corrections
- spot welding time
- inductance
- rise/fall current
The MIG/MAG method also includes pulse modes (PULSE, DP), which additionally include functions such as:
- arc length in the pulse
- arc length at initial/final current
- base current in the pulse
- pulsation time
In the TIG LIFT welding method you can set:
- welding current
- current fall time
- final shielding gas flow
- button mode: 2T or 4T
- thickness of the welded material
MMA welding (covered electrode) allows for additional functions:
- HOT START
- HOT START time
- ARC FORCE
The device features an extensive welding parameter recording and recall system ( JOB function ). This simplifies work on various materials, without the need to re-set the device when any changes are made (e.g., gas or wire).
Physical parameters
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
Fan cooling system - NORMAL or SMART mode (activated only when needed) - reduces contamination inside the device.
The device is equipped with overload , overvoltage, and undervoltage protection for operation with a generator (+/- 15%), which increases its reliability. It also features a PFC (Power Factor Correction) module, which improves the power factor and the stability of the grid connection.
Power parameters
Single-phase power supply 230V.
The device is equipped with a power plug.
Equipment
The delivery includes a device with a 3-meter MIG 24 welding torch with a 3-meter Teflon insert, and 3-meter electrode and ground cables. Additionally, a hose with a quick-disconnect coupling is included
