SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 is a specialized helmet designed for laser welding, cleaning, and cutting, developed with maximum user protection in mind. It’s not just an auto-darkening filter that protects your eyes – it’s a comprehensive facial protection system that, thanks to a special coating, also effectively shields against reflected and scattered laser radiation. The active filter provides protection in the 1000–1100 nm wavelength range at levels D LB7 + IR LB8, while the outer coating complements it with a 1000–1100 DIR LB8 rating. The helmet is designed for use with class 4 lasers and complies with EN 207:2017 and EN ISO 16321 standards. EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND PROTECTIONAuto-darkening filter for laser welding

Thanks to its optical class 1/1/1/2 and a reaction time of 1/25,000 of a second, the auto-darkening filter in the SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 ensures excellent visibility and immediate darkening upon detecting a flash. Shading can be adjusted in two ranges: DIN 4–8 and DIN 8–12, allowing precise tuning according to the intensity of the laser beam and the type of work being performed. In standby mode, the filter remains exceptionally bright – DIN 2 level ensures great visibility of the surroundings and details without needing to remove the helmet, significantly facilitating workstation setup and work between welds.

ADVANCED OPERATING MODES AND FULL CONTROL

The helmet offers three operation modes – GRIND, MIX, and DARK – making it easy to adapt to various tasks. The MIX mode minimizes eye fatigue during spot welding and when using high-power lasers, by smoothly transitioning through intermediate levels of shading. Users can also freely adjust sensor sensitivity and delay time to achieve maximum comfort and safety.
